Kayla - I wish to...
Be a Ballerina...

Kayla was referred several years ago, and we
knew that she wanted to be a ballerina so we signed her up for
dance lessons. Her condition took a turn for the worse without her ever
having her recital.
So we called the Virginia Ballet Theater and asked if they could help.
They were so excited to be a part of Kayla’s wish and planned to
have Kayla “perform” in their upcoming holiday presentation,
“The Nutcracker”. They wrote a part for Kayla into the traditional
story as a special friend for Clara, and to help Kayla on Stage, they
created a butler part for her dad as well.
Kayla’s
dad wrote:
We will treasure forever our memories of Kayla’s experiences on
stage and behind the scenes.
Kayla’s participation has been a wish come
true.
